Busy day today. One emergency call to an air bnb, and finished up a retention wall of cinder block excrpt the last few toppers. All in all a good day other than dealing with pex piping. I hate pex... not because it hard, but because its prone to failure for two reasons.

1? Its literally a soy based plastic and thatsvright you guessed it! It attracts mice. Not a good combination, mice and pressure lines. 2? The copper rings stretch out over time. Personally? Ill use copoer and sweat them over pex sny day of the week. Sure theres a time and a place for pex, but entire homes? Thats just a recipe for water damage.

Tomorrow ill head out and mud these joints and then head overcsnd cap that wall. Easy peasy. Remember! If you have repairs, remodels or just normal maintenance? We can help and safe you a little money in the process. You can reach us in messages or call and text to 928-274-6917

Whatever contractor in town that keeps floating drywall needs to get right. This is the 4th home in a year ive encountered it. You float tile, not drywall ya twat. This shit here is flawed, done wrong, and it makes repairs a real pain in the ass. Not to mention you’re setting your customers up for cracking seams. Seriously... Freaking stop.

Got hired to change out a valve today in preparation for a toilet install. Old one was shot. I go to remove the valve, but its sweated “ welded” directly to the pipes. I couldnt remove it without ripping half the wall out.

Well...that valve was shot but not the main. So I cut water to the property, and built their new toilet instead. Went in ok, one pin was bent bad, but I managed reset it with a little heat and patience. All in all a good job with happy clients.

So I was cutting a shower out and the former contractor didnt pipe into the framing. He set it on the framing. When my grinder blade hit the fitting it kicked back and sliced me down to the bone on my hand, spraying blood all over my face and the bathroom.

Funny thing is I didnt even feel it. I taped it up and told my spouse. She said i have to see the doc🙁. So im sitting here waiting to see if i need surgery to remove bone fragments or grinder blade material out of the wound. Irritates me because i was so close to finishing the cut out.

Finished up sealing this beast up. 4000 sq feet. Holy roof job. Peaceful work, but monotonous. Thank god for headphones and gracious hosts. Another job completed
